A FAMILY BUSINESSFounded in 1986, L'Atelier Sara is a Parisian family business specializing in the study, development and manufacture of high-end ready-to-wear clothing and luxury accessories. L’Atelier is located in the heart of Paris, in the 10th arrondissement, a district previously teeming with leather and fur clothing workshops. To this day, we are among the survivors of the tailoring workshops in Paris specializing in leather and tailoring and we are proud to cultivate and share our know-how with our customers.
Thanks to the subcontracting activities for the most prestigious Parisian houses such as Chanel, Dior, Balmain or Balenciaga to name a few, the workshop has been enriched with a solid expertise in the development and manufacture of parts. exceptional. FROM THE DESIGN OFFICE TO THE PRODUCTION LINEAtelier Sara is an expert in high quality work and has cultivated the know-how of Made in France sewing for over 30 years. We have been able to develop and train artisans over the years: we offer you various services in the study and manufacture of your high-end and haute couture ready-to-wear collections as well as in tailor-made creations. Our workshop allows you to follow the conception of an idea until the delivery of the finished product.
With the help of our partners in Paris and abroad, we can support our customers in the sourcing of materials and supplies, technical file and product study, development of patronage, digitization and gradation, standardization, production launch and monitoring until delivery.
SO HOW DO WE WORK?
We work flexibly. Whatever the starting point of your creations, we are here to bring them to life. From a sketch, a technical drawing or a vintage, we can start to make a prototype to lay the foundations of your idea. This service includes the making and setting of a patronage, as well as the assembly and adjustment of a canvas. The canvas can be tried on in our workshop, with a model of your choice. Subsequently, we continue in the study of the piece and the finishes with a second prototype in the material chosen to adjust the final adjustments related to the reaction of the textile, leather or fur, depending on the cut
We can also digitize the patronage and perform the size gradation for each model in your collection. This step is essential to move on to production.
In search of the finest materials in order to meet the most demanding demands, our workshop has been able to expand its address book and surround itself with prestigious suppliers. We can advise you for the sourcing of your fabrics, skins, embroideries but also for the labeling and packaging of your products.
Once your collection has been developed, we offer you the production launch service. From an estimate and production prices varying according to quantity, we launch a pre-production prototype. The cost of making is decreasing according to the number of pieces to be produced. This first model known as “head of series” will give you the exact cost of the confection.
We ask for a minimum number of parts to be produced which may vary depending on the complexity of the models.
